DAY 1 HO CHI MINH CITY
Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City
Begin your adventure in Ho Chi Minh City where on arrival you will check into our recommended five-star hotel. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in the luxurious surrounds of your hotel or set out to check out one of the many museums in the city.
DAY 2 HO CHI MINH CITY
Discover the city
Meet with your expert local guide for a full-day tour that showcases the city's key historic and architectural sites. Admire the city's French colonial charm as well as its Chinese heritage, with some time spent exploring Chinatown. You'll also get time in Ben Thanh Market, where you can see local handicrafts. Visit the The Independence Palace and pass by the Notre Dam Cathedral, the Opera House and the Emperor Jade Pagoda,
DAY 3 CAN THO
The Mekong Delta
This morning we travel to Can Tho, the capital of the Mekong Delta. The city is situated on the Hau River, which you'll get to explore with a river cruise near the charming town of Ben Tre. In the evening, check out the local street stalls and Vietnamese delicacies with a food walk before settling into your luxury Azerai Can Tho for the night.
DAY 4 HO CHI MINH CITY
Cai Rang Floating Market
This morning explore the Cai Rang floating market and join in the action as local vendors in longtail boats trade fresh produce. After lunch, return to Ho Chi Minh City, stopping at the river town of My Tho on the way.
DAY 5 HOI AN
Historic Hoi An
This morning transfer the airport and fly to Danang where you will travel on to Hoi An. Hoi An is UNESCO-protected city with Chinese, Japanese and French historic architecture. With more than 2,000 years' of history and prominence as a former spice trade hub, enjly the culture and art that the city has to offer. Check in to the luxury Nam Hai resort located at China Beach with a view of the Cham Islands.
DAY 6 HOI AN
Hoi An Culture and Cuisine
With your expert local guide, spend the full-day exploring the city of Hoi An. Enjoy a food tour to fully experience the regional cuisine and sample the best local treats, take a relaxing river cruise on the Tho Bon River and a walking tour or a bicycle tour to fully explore the city.
DAY 7 HUE
Imperial City
This morning it's onto the city of Hue via the Hai Van Pass, a 13-mile-long stretch of scenic mountain road offering superb views over the coast. In Hue, explore the ancient Imperial Citadel with your local guide, visiting the Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and Forbidden Purple City, or Tu Cam Thanh. Lunch is at a garden house restaurant serving regional Hue cuisine. Later, join a leisurely cruise down the Perfume River then check into your luxury hotel.
DAY 8 HO CHI MINH CITY
Cu Chi Tunnels
This morning we fly back to Ho Chi Minh City. You can explore the streets on foot, or head to one of city's famous landmarks, such as the Chinese Chua Quan Am Temple, Cha Tam cathedral or visit the Cu Chi tunnels by private boat.
DAY 9 CON DAO
Six Senses Con Dao
Today we travel to one of Vietmans beautiful beaches. We fly to the the islands of Con Dao to Dat Doc Beach and head to Six Senses Con Dao, a luxury resort with beachfront villas with private infinity pool.
DAY 10 CON DAO
Six Senses Con Dao
Gain an insight into the local history of the island with a visit to the prison camp, a remnant from the Vietnam War. Visit the Trai Phu Hai Prison and see the infamous "tiger cages". In the afternoon, explore the National Park where you can spot macaques, squirrels and local birdlife. Return to the resort for dinner.
DAY 11 CON DAO
Six Senses Con Dao
Spend the day at your leisure relaxing on the beach, kayaking along the coast or heading to the local fishing village to glimpse local life. Con Dao has a coral reef where you may choose to go diving with the chance of spotting rays, turtles and barracuda.
DAY 14 HO CHI MINH CITY
Departure
Spend the morning at your leisure before we head back to Ho Chi Minh City for your onward journey.
